These are the terms and conditions by which you, or the organisation you represent, agree to use this website and trade with Big Brown Carrier Bag Suppliers Ltd. By using this website and/or purchasing goods from us you are accepting these terms and conditions. They may change, so please revisit this page from time to time.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any dispute arising is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.

Terms of Trade

1. Making a contract with us

a. When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. Once we have reviewed your order a contract has been made between us. We will then process and dispatch your order.

b. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this and arrange an alternative (see our Returns Policy).

c. Although we make every effort to display photos of product, and their colour, as accurately as possible on this website, they are for illustrative purposes only. Your goods may vary slightly from the image shown, particularly with regards to colour because computer monitors display colours differently. We always recommend ordering samples before placing a full order - these can be ordered here.

d. Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.

e. By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms.

2. How to place an order

a. You can use our website to place an order by clicking on the product information and clicking 'add to basket' below the product. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time by clicking on the remove item button and clicking 'update basket'. You may change the quantities of items from your shopping basket. You may view your shopping basket at any time by clicking the 'my basket' link at the top of every page on the website. 

b. If you prefer not to order online or to place a bulk order, please call us on 01404 758664

c. Prices displayed are in UK pounds and exclude VAT and carriage charges. VAT @ 20% and carriage charges will be added to your order at checkout.

d. You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.

e. We use secure payment facilities for online purchases, using Paypal and World Pay (Cardsave payment gateway for Worldpay). If paying by PayPal you will be transferred to the secure PayPal website to place your order. Please note: we do not store any of your card details on our server.

f. Order changes can be made via our website or by phone. However, once your order has been confirmed, in certain circumstances changes may not be possible, or may incur additional charges or delays.

3. Dispatch of the goods

a. Stock items will normally be dispatched on the day of order, if the order is placed before 2pm.

b. Delivery can take up to 3 days, depending on location and delivery service chosen. See our Delivery page for information.

c. We can deliver anywhere in the UK and surrounding areas.

d. We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order.

e. Dispatch of the goods shall be by DHL Delivery.

f. If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, we reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made for redirecting your delivery.

g. If there is a national holiday, or during the Christmas and New Year period, or any other circumstances beyond our control, the dispatch date may be extended.

4. Acceptance of the goods

a. You shall be deemed to have accepted the goods when delivery is made to the delivery address nominated.

b. See our Returns policy for cancellation, returns and faulty/mis-described goods.

We may cancel your access to password-protected areas of our website, or its functionality, at any time.

a. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that this Website is available 24 hours every day, 365 days per year. However, websites do sometimes encounter downtime due to server and other technical issues. Therefore we will not be liable if this website is unavailable at any time.

b. We may close down this website at any time that we see fit.
